Roselle Panganiban
Hello, and welcome to my portfolio site.
My name is Roselle Panganiban, and I am a graduate of both the University of Winnipeg and Red River College Polytech. My background is in writing, communications, and digital media design.
Here you will find some projects and design work I created over the years.
Thanks for taking a tour of my work!
This app concept was designed for the Digital Media Design course User Experience 2. Contrary to most popular period apps, this app concept uses a dark mode to be more neutral and inclusive of different user audiences.
This links to my ArtStation profile. In this site, you will find select 3D art and digital illustrations I created while studying as a first year Digital Media Design student.
This desktop and mobile redesign of Kyu Bistro was designed for the Digital Media Design course Web Design 3. The design uses high contrast (black and white) and a vibrant red and purple combination meant to mimic the experience of a night scene.
This eCommerce app was designed for the Digital Media Design course User Interface Typography 1. The app goes through the order process of a fictional café and uses a simple, modern UI with a light earthy theme of warm tans and plant vectors.
This video was originally an essay for the Rhetoric & Communications course Visual Rhetoric. The essay explores the Laughing Buddha as a visual ideograph and theorizes its cultural development through Western and non-Western contexts.
This client-facing mobile app was a group project designed for the Digital Media Design course User Interface Design 2. My responsibility for the project was helping to develop content and producing the initial wireframes. I also helped with project management with our team lead.
This Scratch game was created for the Digital Media Design course Programming Logic. Click on the image/title to start playing now as Riza, who helps her Grandmother cut rice on the farm.
This grad site of the 2022 Digital Media Design class was designed for the course User Interface Typography 2. The design is inspired by a retro 90s aesthetic and uses basic shapes, bright colors, and a general playfulness with design.
This travel brochure site was designed for the Digital Media Design course Web Design 3. The site uses a minimalist style with subtle gradients and black & white images so as to honour a heritage site with culturally-sensitive design.
This desktop and mobile redesign of Clementine Café was designed for the Digital Media Design course User Interface Design 1. The design incorporates illustrated vectors of menu items to create a cute, cartoony theme for the site.
This LinkedIn redesign for mobile was designed for the Digital Media Design course User Interface Typography 1. With designs of wavy blues, circular buttons, and frosted backdrops, this redesign gives LinkedIn a fun and fresh look from its original corporate theme.
The Ambassador Program is a toolkit of resources for staff at the National Microbiology Laboratory for delivering engaging presentations for demographics such as children and students. My role was to design and develop the internal documents for signing out Ambassador program resources.
The Science of Health blog publishes the Health Portfolio’s science and research activities. My contributions to the blog include: interviewing scientists re: their work, taking photos of scientists and lab employees, and drafting and editing blog posts and social media plans.
